A couple of weeks ago, I saw his world globe sitting in a heap of trash. I went passed it in my car and couldn’t bear to see it perched up there, like an old cardboard box or something. It didn’t seem right, someone throwing out this globe. I turned around in my car, even though it was a tricky maneuver and checked out to see if the world was damaged. It turned out that everything was fine with the world-the globe was intact. Why would someone throw this out, I wondered. Immediately, I headed East to my neon guy, Doug, over at Navcour, and knew exactly what I was gonna do with this left behind little planet. I picked up the globe today, on all days, today- when incomprehensible mass shootings are the horrible tragic news of the day. It unfortunately, seemed fitting but incredibly sad. My strength goes out to the families of those injured and killed. Rest in peace.
